A prayer Request...

Hello everyone!

want to share about a friend named George....

George came from a remote village in nothern part of the island of luzon in the Philippines. Hes family is poor so they decided to search for greener pasture, and in the process he and his family are scattered. Due to poverty, they had never been to school, so George can't read of write.

He got married and had 3 kids... In the course of time, his wife died while thier kids are still small. A relative offered to help him raised the kids, and ask him to send one of his daughter to them in manila. His daughter is 9 years old that time. He send his child in a bus to Manila, and in the process, the daughter was lost. They searched for her, but no where to be found. In just two weeks, he lost his wife and a daughter.......

He got married again for the second time, and God blessed them with 5 children. They are now living in Nagassican, Santiago City, and a faithful member in Cornerstone Church Nagassican. 3 years ago, he was diagnosed with kidney failure, and it is really acute. The doctor sent him home to die, and said hes got only a month to live.

He and his family believed that God will heal him. He only take a medicine when someone give him, for they can't afford to buy.

George is still alive, but he can't work, for he is not yet well. When he gets worse, he said hes medication is prayer. At the moment, he is sick again and he's here in Sefton Village for prayer.

He said hes ready to be with the Lord. Hes prayer request is that the Lord take him very soon to end his suffering, but if God wants to use him for His glory. That he will recieve his healing very soon, for him not to be a burden to his family.

Please pray with us, and my prayer is that the Holy Spirit will teach us how to pray for him and his family.

Back on track

Dear friends,

Its been a long time that i did not update my blog, but now i'm back....

Lots of things happened for the past year, since the last blog i posted.

Now, i'm a father of a lovely baby girl. Her name is Eunice Hope, shes so beautiful and a happy child. shes 1 year and 2 months next week. She brings joy to me and Maryjane, and really a gift from God. Last month she did have an accident, she climb off her crib, and fall really bad. Thanks for all your prayers, shes very good now, it seems nothing happen to her. God really answer our prayers.

Last September, we did have an opportunity to visit in UK. There had been complications in my visa that affected my flight and everything. But praise God, it all work out well with me. thanks to Davy Ritchie, he never give up, he hang on, even if he has to stay on the phone for a couple of hours just to get a flight for me. And also i appreciate to those who persevere in praying for my behalf.

Our visit there has been really great. They welcome us with much joy, like part of thier family. the experience is incredibly amazing.

Now, 2009.... I believe that God will bring us to greater hights of ministry and opportunity to serve Him and with Him.

Launching of Cornerstone Ramon

We just have officially launch the Church in my home town. Its really an exciting time for us to be a part of this new church. Pastor Mark Ritchie really chalenge us and share the vision of the church to the new members. Pastor Laurence Nanglegan the AoG District Superentendent have shared his experience in church planting, ands its amazing how we do experience the same as they have before.

For the past two saturdays, we were able to minister to 750 youth as we did conduct a spiritual emphasis to one of the public high school in the city of Santiago. God is really opening doors for us to minister to the people of our city. We also have just do a recollection for all the Staff of the Government hospital of our city, around 100 of them. They were so challenge and really are opening up for the gospel.

Please join us to pray and believe that God can change our City.!!!

Feeding in Ramon

Yesterday, we have an opportunity to feed the students of Ramon Central School, Ramon Isabela with the Cornerstone feeding program. We really had a great time with the teachers and the students as we introduce also the Powerhouse kids club to them. They are very willing to accommodate the program in their school. We fed 898 kids and 35 teachers in this school, and they are requesting if we can make it a regular activity for their school.

Thought it was just a congee, the kids loved it and enjoyed it, so many of them queue up for the 2nd and 3rd time to have more.

Cornerstone Ramon

One of the latest ministry that Sefton had is the birth of new Cornerstone church in a town Called Ramon. The leaders involved in this new ministry are Pastor James Bastian, Pastor Nestor Domingo, and Me.
